Das Training ist
für Musiker*innen und Musikpädagogen*innen entwickelt worden, die in
Deutschland leben und ihre Fähigkeiten entwickeln möchten, zur sozialen
Integration von Geflüchteten und Migranten in Deutschland beizutragen.
Bis zu 30 Teilnehmende können auf Grundlage der durch “Musicians without
Borders” entwickelten Methode als Community Music Workshopleiter
trainiert werden.
Folgende Fähigkeiten und Themen werden im Training behandelt:
- Community Music Herangehensweisen im Bereich Singen, (Body)Percussion, Bewegung, Songwriting
- Vertrauensbildung und Teamarbeit
- Feedback, Bewertung und Selbstreflexion
- Grundlegende Wahrnehmung von und Umgang mit Traumata
- Gewaltfreie Kommunikation und die Entwicklung von Empathie
- Techniken des Musizierens in Gruppen ohne den Einsatz von Sprache
- Kreativität und Improvisation
- Entwicklung einer Serie von Workshops und Community Veranstaltungen
Dieser
Workshop wird gefilmt und am letzten Tag des Trainings gemeinsam
ausgewertet. Es wird erwartet, dass anschließend jede/r Teilnehmende
eigene Workshops in Flüchtlingscamps, Schulen oder anderen lokalen
Gruppen leitet. Das Training findet auf Deutsch und Englisch statt.
Aufgrund
der Förderung durch das Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft des
Landes NRW wird das Lehrentgelt erlassen, die Teilnahme ist gegen
Übernahme der Kosten für Unterkunft/Verpflegung möglich.
Community Music Training
The
training has been developed for musicians and music pedagogues from all
cultural backgrounds who wish to increase their ability to work towards
the social inclusion of refugees and migrants. Up to 30 participants
are invited to be trained as community music leaders through the methods
of Musicians without Borders.
The training prepares participants to lead community music workshops
that foster empathic connections between people within an inclusive and
safe environment.
The following skills and subjects are addressed in the training:
- Community music approaches to singing, (body) percussion, movement, songwriting Trust-building and teamwork Feedback, evaluation and self-reflection
- Nonviolent communication and building empathy between participants
- Nonverbal techniques for music making
- Creativity and improvisation
- Constructing a series of workshops and a community event
The
workshop will be filmed and evaluated with all participants on the
final day. Following the training, we expect all participants to work
with local groups in order to implement the skills learnt from the
training.
The training will be held in German
and English.
Due to the support of the Ministry for Culture and Science of North
Rhine Westfalia, participants only have to pay for accommodation and
board.
